Call Center Services Announces Director of Performance Development Group

Bloomington, IL – Afni is pleased to announce the appointment of Don Yager as the Director of the Performance Development Group for Call Center Services. In his role, Don is responsible for new hire training, quality coaching and performance development for Call Center Services.

Don brings over 12 years of experience in training, development, quality improvement and project management. Prior to Afni, he served as a training and quality consultant. Before that, he served as Director of Quality Services for APAC Customer Services. He also served as Director of Training and Manager of Training for several call centers and manufacturing companies.

"Don brings extensive training experience in the call center environment," comments Mike Garner, Vice President of Call Center Services. "His specialized expertise will help us continue to differentiate ourselves from the competition with our higher standards for quality, 'service with a sale' program design and our technical support services growth."

Bloomington, IL – Debra Ciskey, Director of the Performance Development Group at Afni, Inc, a leading provider of customer interaction solutions for the communications and insurance industry, recently received the Fred Kirschner Award of Merit from ACA International, Inc., formerly known as the American Collectors Association (ACA).

The Fred Kirschner Award of Merit recognizes members of ACA’s faculty who have reached milestones in their teaching career. Ciskey, a renowned expert in the collections industry for employee training and development, received the award after conducting more than 50 seminars for the ACA during her tenure as a member of the ACA faculty. She specializes in seminars on federal collection laws and effective collection and training techniques. She was certified as a faculty member in 1983.

In July, Ciskey co-facilitated a session entitled, “Knowledge Café” at the ACA Annual Convention in Dallas. Over 300 attendees participated in the session. The convention was sponsored by the ACA, the international trade organization of credit and collection professionals which provides a variety of services to its more than 5,500 member credit grantors and collection services.

Mobley is a respected leader in the Information and Technology field and has extensive experience developing technology solutions. The session entitled “Telecommunications and Call Center Technologies” provided over 125 attendees with the latest developments and strategies used by Afni to implement debt collection services for clients. Mobley outlined the valuable benefits of using automatic dialers, IVR, speech recognition and voice over IP.

The conference, held in Dallas, was sponsored by the American Collectors Association, an international trade organization of credit and collection professionals which provides a variety of accounts receivables management services to over one million credit grantors.

With over 13 years of collections industry experience, Hess has worked at Afni his entire professional career. He currently oversees all aspects of Afni’s debt purchase operations and is a member of the Business Development Team. During his tenure, Jim has developed new debt purchase opportunities, negotiated competitive terms and has achieved highly substantial results.
