Bloomington, IL – Three executives from Afni, Inc., a leading provider of business process solutions, will share their specialized expertise with over 1,200 collection professionals at the ACA International Convention this month.

John Mobley, Jr., Afni Vice President of Information Technology Services and Chief Information Officer and John O’Donnell, Afni Vice President of Credit and Collection Serviceswill provide insight into the latest technology and strategies used by Afni to implement debt collection services for clients. They will outline the benefits of using automatic dialers, IVR technology, call segmentation, agent routing and call tracking.

Debra Ciskey, Afni Director of the Performance Development Group will co-facilitate two sessions. One session is on effective leadership techniques for building a supportive and inspiring organization or team. In the second, Ciskey helps participants creatively brainstorm potential best practices. Ciskey is recognized by the ACA for her expertise in federal collection laws and effective collection and training techniques.

The conference, being held in Washington, D.C., is sponsored by the ACA International, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals. Founded in 1939, ACA brings together more than 5,500 members worldwide, including third–party collection agencies, attorneys, creditors and vendor affiliates. The association establishes ethical standards, produces a wide variety of products, services and publications, and articulates the value of the credit and collection industry to businesses, policymakers and consumers.

Bloomington, IL – Afni, Inc., a leading provider of customer interaction and business process solutions, congratulates Chairman and CEO Bruce F. Griffin and President and COO Ronald L. Greene on their tenth anniversary of ownership of the company. On June 1, 1995, Griffin and Greene purchased “Anderson Financial Network, Inc.” from Bloomington business owner Earl Anderson. At the time, the business was located at 420 Main Street, but shortly thereafter moved operations to its current headquarters at 404 Brock Drive.

Under their leadership, the company incorporated a comprehensive menu of customer care services and business quickly grew. By the end of the decade, they opened centers in Peoria, Illinois; Tucson, Arizona; Bowling Green, Kentucky; Opelika, Alabama and the Martin Luther King and Wylie Drive facilities in Bloomington. With the business expansion, the company name changed to “Afni, Inc.”

Later, Griffin and Greene incorporated insurance-specific services into their menu of service offerings and opened yet another facility in St. Charles, Missouri in 2002. Today, Afni employs over 4,000 nationwide, with 11 facilities located in 5 states.

Steve Jorgens, Contact Center Manager, Tucson, AZ
Jorgens began his career at Afni in 2003 as Operations Manager and has over 13 years of industry experience.

Daun Tucker, Contact Center Manager, Opelika, AL
Tucker has been a part of the Afni since 2003 when she served as Operations Manager. She has over 16 years of contact center experience, 15 of those in management.

Troy Walker, Contact Center Manager, Bowling Green, KY
Walker comes to Afni with over 11 years of call center management experience, specializing in services to the cable and satellite industry.

As Contact Center Managers, these individuals will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and all project implementation at their respective centers.

Palumbo brings over 25 years of experience to Afni, including serving as Regional Claims Manager and Director of Marketing and Sales for some of the nation's leading insurance carriers.
